Support Letter!

Dear Family and Friends,
Another year has just begun, and this year I will be finishing up my second year at St. Cloud State University. At SCSU I have had a great opportunity to get involved with an organization called Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU). Within CRU I am a student leader; last semester I co-lead a bible study, and this semester I have a chance to be part of an outreach team!
Campus Crusade for Christ (ccci.org) is a Christian ministry that has been reaching out to college students since 1951. The group is very active here in St. Cloud and on 3,500 other campuses in the U.S. and overseas. The Lord has used this ministry to help me grow in my faith. One of the best things that Campus Crusade for Christ offers is a chance to go on a summer project.
As many of you know, last summer I had a chance to go down to North Myrtle Beach, SC with 93 other college students from the upper mid-west. Along with working long weeks, reaching out to our co-workers, we had the chance to go onto the beach and talk to people about the gospel. As a team we initiated 6,345 conversations, 2,225 were gospel conversations, and over 250 people accepted Christ!
At North Myrtle the Lord really put a predominately Muslim country in the Middle East on my heart (for safety of the nationals in the country, Campus Crusade for Christ has asked me not to state the name of the country). In this country they have 72 million people and less than 5,000 known believers. This is a country that desperately needs to hear the gospel, and I want to go, to go with the intention of serving someone in a different country, to tell them the most important words they can know: Jesus loves you and died on the cross for you.
In order for me to go on this trip, I need ministry partners—a group of people who are willing to give a gift of any amount. As many of you realize, raising support is one of my greatest steps of faith in preparation for this summer. I need a total of $4,600, which will cover airfare, room and board and other materials needed for the summer. So would you prayerfully consider joining my team by giving a gift of $25, $50, $100 or more? Of course whatever amount the Lord leads you to give is the right amount.
While money is important it is second to a far greater need of prayer support. So would you also consider praying not only for my financial needs to be met, but also the financial needs of my fellow teammates? Also could you pray for safety on this trip and for the hearts of the nationals over there?
God Bless,

Lacie Adelmann
